Chevron Texaco

home - dear fellow marketer

Dear Fellow Marketer

Welcome to CTPMA, a trade association established by Chevron marketers over thirty years ago to support and be an advocate for the interests of its petroleum marketer members. It seems that each year we face a new set of challenges and opportunities that further engage our collective talents to build brand value and profitably grow the marketer channel of trade.  CTPMA exists to create a forum whereby marketers can exchange ideas and best practices as well as develop business opportunities among themselves and with our suppliers that can positively affect our mutual businesses.  We seek collaborative processes and partnerships based on direct, candid and honest communications.  With thirty volunteer jobber marketers comprising our board of directors, CTPMA is lead by a knowledgeable and respected leadership team dedicated to insuring that the interests of all members are addressed and properly represented.

Along with this leadership team, I invite all our members to become involved in the business of our association.  CTPMA offers many vehicles for marketers to become engaged in identifying needed business solutions and helping develop educational opportunities for the benefit of our membership.  Through our regular board meetings, committee meetings and the CTPMA Business Forum, there are frequent and excellent opportunities to discuss and promote steps for positive growth in the jobber/distributor channel of trade. Yet there remains much untapped skill, ideas and energy among us.  So as your Executive Director I personally encourage all CTPMA members to join in helping your association fulfill its purpose and mission.

And as always, we invite all marketers to give us their input on those issues and opportunities you feel should be a part of the agenda during our meetings.   Keep in contact with your board and committee members.  You will find them listed on this website and in the back of each issue of our newsletter CTPMA News.  We want to hear from you on those things that matter most to marketers.
